Autumn color at Kiyomizu-dera temple in Kyoto, Japan. Founded in the early Heian period, Kiyomizu-dera temple was founded in 778. It is famous for not having used a single nail in its construction. The temple is part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
